Why not make your own?
Cut a plastic bottle in two then invert the top and add something smelly and disgusting in water and hang in a tree or on a wall, the locals use them in thieir trees. You can also buy the bait.

What they dont tell you is that you can smell it from 25 metres away as well, and boy oh boy do they stink.
If you cant smell it , it aint working.

Don't hang these anywhere near where you intend sitting, eating etc.
They smell horribly, and need to be emptied too.

What they also dont tell you is that the homemade ones will catch thousands.....I did actually work out how many (approx 8  flies to cm3 in a 5 litre bottle etc etc....but all they do is atract even more flies in,you wont see any difference at all outside. They even lay their eggs on the dead flies and the maggots then eat their parents and so the cycle begins....

I have used these to great effect. They do in theory attract the female flies and this in turn effects next years fly population. Do not hang to close to the house as they do pen and ink. You can get them at garden centres and cooperatives but these on e bay even with postage seem cheaper.

Is this a receptacle full of crap that attracts creatures of limited intelligence but of great breeding capacity. Would the English translation for this be David Cameron?
