If you were to lose the rest of your UK TV channels (BBC's ITV's, C4 etc) or you would need a 1.9M dish (around 1000 euros) or a 2.4M dish (around 1500 euros) would you be prepared to subscribe to a pay TV system that delivered these channels?

This has been how TV has been delivered around Torrevieja for a number of years so is not new.

Until now we have had the luxury of receiving TV on a small dish but it seems these days are numbered - we've already lost the C5's and the rest are most likely going to disappear next summer.

It is very unlikely the SKY subscription channels will go as it is not in their interest but the traditional UK broadcasters have no financial interest and so no incentive to broadcast to Spain.

So, if they go what, or would you, be prepared to pay for them?

We've been here for six years without access to UK TV so not that bothered, but I do enjoy BBC i-Player Radio and would pay to be able to access the TV part too, but definitely no more than €10  a month at the absolute most.

We've been here almost 9 years without Brit TV!!!!!!!!

Really cant imagine what all of the fuss is about having spent some time with friends ................it's all X-Factor, Strictly Dancing, and Jungle stuff.

Thank God I left all of that part of the UK behind...........maybe then you will have the time time to learn Spanish/Catalan

We really don't miss it either and like you buy DVD's of things that we want to watch.  I do like listening to English radio though and use internet radio most days.
