Post by vikyTT on Apr 25th, 2013 at 11:27am
can anyone who owns or has used a motorized wheelbarrow tell me if it is any good to go uphill (25% to 35% slope) on a narrow rocky path?
we want to buy one, but we are not sure about it being able to do the job.
thanks!!!!

We used to use them a lot . Is it the petrol driven rubber tracked type ? If you are using it for concrete etc tilt the load forward so its level with the slope and doesn't slop out when going up hill . They go uphill well . Be careful Iv'e seen a few accidents with them . Try looking on utube for "petrol tracked wheelbarrow " or similar.

The ones we used were bigger and more solid looking with rubber tank type tracks . Made by Honda I think.

Right. We've seen those, they'd certainly do the job, but they're way more expensive to buy. You wouldn't know of anyone who owns one that we could borrow or rent. We've looked to rent from companies de material de construcción, but no luck.
thanks,
