I suppose it depends what weather you moved for  8-) In Madrid the day time highs for June July and august range between 24C and 40C.  It's already gone up to 23C this week so it seems to be settling down again.  Just wish we could get rid of the blummin wind we've got here, it's due to stay for at least another four or five days  >:(

But of course, us being Swedish, looking to buy a house in the Tortosa area, to flee our horrific winters, Spain comes up with the coldest capital in the world. Even if only for a day.

go figure.

It is saying that summer 2013 could be the coldest and wettest for two hundred years.  :-[

Not just Spain. Am in la Gironde (SW France) looking after French friend's dog and house while they are in Quebec (22 degrees and cloudy!) and it is 18 with rain on and off! If this keeps up for another two weeks you can write-off the Bordeaux vintages for this year except for vin ordinaire! At least not as bad as Huddersfield today, 14 and rain!

Be interesting to see how much rain we have had since about 4am.  It has been persisting down.
