this plant has just appeared amongst some pumkins I have growing,no idea what it is

Hi cariad, we've had that on our finca. Unless I'm very much mistaken it's Jimson weed, a member of the Datura family, and highly toxic.

My personal thoughts are that it is a squirting cucumber or white bryony.
I would Google all suggestions and then take a look at some of the images. |

Just looked on Wikipedia, it is Jimson weed. We will be very careful how we get rid of it, many thanks for the replies

No problem cariad. I was pretty certain what it was from the very spiky leaves and seed pods. If we had smellovision I would have been even more sure, it really stinks.
We got rid of it by hoeing it up and burning it. |

Deffo Jimson Weed Too late now, but be careful with it - use gloves to handle it. We have it here too |
