This is a huge problem in the Alicante area, where I now live..(The Home of palm growers). Failing to cut down and disposing of a badly infected tree here carries a fine of 500 euros. We have hundred of empty fields where they have been culled. Such a shame. Sorry to hear it has spread to the delta. >:(
