Title: Temps de Terra, Amposta
Post by Nigel on Feb 8th, 2014 at 7:11pm
We have just come back from a fantastic afternoon out at Temps de Terra in Amposta.

The food was fantastic, more than we could eat, and the location is wonderful. They have loads of animals and fields where they grow all the food that you eat - they also sell seasonal produce. All the food is ecological, the majority, including the meat, grown on site.

It cost 20 euros per person but this included all the food, wine, coffee etc. that you could eat.

They have a huge area where you can relax after eating and hammocks if you fancy a siesta.

From what I was told in the summer you can order a picnic hamper to take with you to enjoy anywhere in the grounds.

It's very close to Amposta and well worth a visit. In the winter it's only open at weekends.

Hi
I was wondering if this restaurant is predominantly meat or if they also have fish? I tried to have a look about on their website but couldn't see fish advertised.
Seems right up my alley as Im a veggie but I love fish too.
Thanks
Sarah

Hi would like to visit can someone please give us directions. Google earth and maps don't recognise the given address on their website. Coming from Vinaros is it better to go via N340 or to go via Ulldecona and Freginals. Thank you.

Take the N340 from Vinaros and take the Amposta exit.  Go straight over the first roundabout and continue to the next one.  Take the last (4th) exit.  Continue until a sharp left hand bend.  It's sign posted from there.  Note that the restaurant is only open for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

Take the C12 to Amposta.  At the roundabout take the 2nd exit.  Continue until a sharp left hand bend.  It's sign posted from there.

Went to Temps de Terra yesterday.  It was a totally different experience.  Very rustic with lots of space and imagination.  The food was excellent and very plentiful.  We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed the wonderful setting.
