Title: FilmOn Faster Streaming for those who are using it
Post by macmaster on Mar 12th, 2014 at 9:51pm
I came across this so I gave it a try. had a lot less freezing which is always good when the footballs on. Funny it says Tortosa TV on the home page although it is still Filmon.

Anyway it seems to be working a lot smoother perhaps less people on the server. :D

I have had a look at filmon, & will give it a go as I get lots of buffering when looking at live & iplayer tv.  What I do find successful is downloading BBC.  It is a shame that ITV does not offer the same service. Des Filmon allow one to download ITV?

We use filmon.tv all the time have done for weeks no problem no buffering etc 13 euros for a HDMI cable from simply and you can watch full screen on your TV. If youre lucky enough to have a smart WIFI integrated tv great, no need for the cable.
filmon.com does tend to have more adverts. We only need filmontv. for BBC1 and ITV. Have tuned ITV channels 4/5 more 4 etc back in on our 1.3 in Vinaros from info on Sky in Madrid. The pay for channels from sky no difference at the moment. However we do have 10 mg ADSL.

Herbert how do you get the other channels? Or better said how many channels do you need to get from film on? Can you now get some of those we lost back on sky again?
I bought an Apple TV and watch all channels that way currently but do miss being able to record the later shows so would love to get as many as poss back thru sky!

As mentioned on other posts, Herbert lives in Vinaros area, and doesn't need the massive dish, has a good internet connection and is able to get programmes/channels that people around Tortosa area are unable to get.
