Title: AP7 will be FREE
Post by Bunter on Mar 29th, 2014 at 8:24am
THE GOVERNMENT 'is not planning' to extend the concession for the AP-7 toll motorway beyond the end of the current contract on December 31, 2019, announced secretary general for infrastructure, Manuel Niņo.
This means that there will be no more tolls and the road will be free to use.
The toll motorway, which operates between Tarragona and Alicante provinces, has been managed by several companies for more than 50 years.

;D ;D ;D If you are all alive to enjoy it in 2020

You can travel on the A7 ( motorway standard) from Tarragona to Hospitalet then join it again at Benecarlo all the way to Murcia. Cost 8 euros. Who needs the AP7 :D

SkiBob, not quite with you here.
Join what at Benicarlo ?  The AP7 I presume.
Certainly cost a lot more than you say to travel to Murcia.
It costs more than 8 euros from the Benicarlo junction to Castellon . Still a long way to go to Murcia

You come off th AP 7 and join the 340 at Benicarlo which is single track for about 5 km.  Then it becomes the A7 again

It,s a damn shame they cannot make the C32 going into Barcelona  free,I was down to 20 kmh for miles the other week, on the C31 following a camper van and no way of overtaking on that windy stretch facing the sea.

SkiBob
I travel the N340 down to castellon, valencia and Benidorm from Vinaros. I assure you there is nothing like a dual carriageway until you get to the north of Valencia. However, you could travel south on the N340, turn right just before Torreblanca, past the new (old) airport, and then pick up the cv10 to valencia.  It is not a direct route. The transport ministry recommends that HGVs use this route, or the AP7

Save hell of a lot of money in tolls and fuel then just sit in your fav computer chair and open a window let the breeze in feel the wind in your hair just like you would in your Car/Bike !!! Then use the link below. All the fun of travel without the stress and cost. No Sat Nav/Wife required.

Are you there yet ?

Aah but I don't use the AP7. It's much nicer going up through Andorra or Puig Cerdu  ;)
