Glad it wasn't just me.  I checked my inet speed and that was ok but it looked like the wifi was slow.  One good thing (I suppose) is we're watching less telly now partly because you can't channel surf :-)

Me too, I had recorded some programmes for last nights viewing, it was so bad we had to abandon them! :(

Pat, Do you mean you recorded via the Filmon subscription service (Record in HD etc).  If so, how does that work ?  Can you replay what you've recorded at any time and if the broadcast quality is bad, does that also affect the recording ?

I pay the minimum amount, I can't download on to my computer but I can record programmes that are held on filmon's website so bad reception still affects me.  I may pay more so I can download because I like the BBC Iplayer that allows this after a programme has been shown. You have to 'book ' Filmon before a programme is shown. 8-)

There is an add-on available in Firefox which allows you to watch bbc iplayer as long as you are not hiding behind expat shield, which the beeb has wised up to.  Just go to firefox add-ons and look for British T.V. or BBC.
I use expat shield for itv channels and then disconnect to use firefox for bbc progs. I am using a landline with 10mb broadband. It works for now but I have faith in the boffins at the beeb finding a way to stop it soon enough but whilst it's free lets make hay so to speak. ;D

We get 10 meg sometimes more from Movistar ADSL in Vinaros.

We took the deal of a free Android mobile phone, Land line/Fijo, mobile and ADSL all paid together for approx. 43.00 euros a month called MINI FUSION.

DenGeo - I would have liked to be able to use the FreeVPN but I need a fixed IP for some work I do, hence having to pay for it.

We connect using Guifi - www.guifi.net Have a look at their map to see if anyone nearby you has it. If you have line of sight, you can connect

Cheers for that, I'll take a look as soon as I get back to the delta, presently languishing in Nottinghamshire for the next week.

Orange Spain will apply a reduction of €11.45 to its most popular broadband tariff as from April 27th, according to a Neeo report.

The operator will reduce its ADSL 20 Mbps offer to €38.10 per month, including IVA, from its current price of €49.55 per month for those without a mobile line. The tariff comes with unlimited calls to Spanish fixed line numbers and 1,000 minutes of calls to mobile numbers from 8pm to 8am during the week and throughout the weekend.

New subscribers will be able to access the ADSL 20 Mbps offer at a promotional price of €16.95 per month over the first 12 months. The ADSL price reduction will be applied at the same time as the official launch of Orange’s new low-cost ‘Tucan’ tariff plan on April 27th. The service will be available in two variants, including Tucan + Voz and Tucan + Megas, with prices reportedly ranging between €9 and €18.

20 M , may be possible if you live in a town?
We can't even get 9 here which Eurona offered us a while ago.
Maybe things will change.

Orange has very poor mobile coverage in some areas.  I had to change to Vodafone as I had many days without coverage in our area which is between Perelló and L'Ametlla.
