Title: The Raiiiiiiiiiiiin
Post by Bulldog on Apr 21st, 2014 at 3:10pm
Hi all,
Why is it when I finally get him indoors surgically removed from the settee to take up his new career being a lumberjack do the sky's open and force him back onto the settee or as he puts it regrouping with the bull mastiff and Jeffrey the one eared one eyed cat supping his tea and stuffing his face with custard creams. He has the cheek to sit and complain that he had just started to enjoy his new manual job or as he was complaining and calling it before the rain his rush to the grave. He never fails to surprise me with his show of disappointment, which after all these years he still thinks I believe him. I suppose on the upside as he says at least the garden getting watered.
Yours, Bulldogs long suffering other half.

One thing I have noticed over the last 8 years about the weather is that 95% of the time Spanish weather is a complete opposite to UK weather at that time.

Here in Jesus we recorded 26.4mm. Yesterday.
Thought it would have been more than that, the way it was lashing down.

RITA, Rita, rita, Wellies!!!!!! It was water wings needed here at the shack on the hill. Thank goodness Jeffrey had passed his lifesaving certificate in swimming, as twice he went under the raging torrent to pull the bull mastiff out, who he quit rescuing once he realised the bully was doing this as a laugh. This monsoon weather came down heavy enough to part fill the balsa which is used by big Betty bullfrog who to her dismay discovered she was no longer alone but had 6 immigrant frogs who had also taken up residence, lets hope they do not speak Russian, look what happened in the Ukraine.
Yours a waterlogged Bulldog.
