Title: Expanding concrete or grout.
Post by John on Jul 22nd, 2014 at 10:00pm
Hi all, a long shot but I need some expanding concrete or expanding grout. Please note that this is a specialist type of cement and ordinary stuff is no good for what I want it for. Does anybody know where I can get it from around here? Trade names are:

Dexpan, Bustar etc.

Does anybody know the name of the Spanish equivalent?

Thanks in advance,
John.

No idea what it would be called here but try Guisbert's in Jesus or Mayor's in Tortosa. They may be able to help?

Cemento expansivo ?  The young guy in Mayor (can't remember his name) speaks good English and is very helpful.

Thanks Guys,

it seems it's called CBA cemento expansivos over here - and very expensive at 70 euros for 10kg! I'll stick to  the sledge hammer with  feathers and wedges. Slow but I'm in no rush and I need the exercise.

Cheers,
John.
