Here in Deltebre we have been kept awake of late by the piercing call of the Little owl. I am not a twitcher but a little internet searching confirms this is the culprit of the racket. It may be of interest to someone as this is the first time we have heard this call here in four years. >:(

I have a resident Scops Owl which really annoys the other local birds if they find him in the day time. That's a racket as well.

Would prefer to listen to the owl at night.
Rather than the neighbours dogs going beserk at 3 this morning.
Maybe a cat up a tree, or a hedgehog they were after?
