Maybe you could ask in a music shop, there is one in remolins in tortosa. A piano tuner is called afinador de pianos.
And Bunter isn't the A440 the Salisbury bypass?

I will try to remember to ask at the music school when I drop my daughter off tomorrow.  I'm guessing you are in the San Carlos de la Rapita neck of the woods.  Correct?

Hi Jack Happy new ear.

I seem to remember the beak who tried to teach me to play told us it is the pitch of key it's note A which is above middle C that the others are tuned towards. Just intonation if you want to look it up. Now what did I do with that guide dog.  ::) Oh does your A440 have an array of white chairs along it's route ?

;D ;D

Thanks for the replies. Michael, the request was put up for a friend who lives near El Perello.

Try Dimitri Edo on 639 271 867.  (I believe he is French.)  He evidently does the tuning for the pianos at the music school in Jesús.

When I was originally house hunting here some years ago I looked at a house with two grand pianos in one room (one of which was particularly good) and asked how they managed to keep them in tune given the fluctuations in temperature and humidity the climate here supplies.  They had a fairly large de-humidifier in the room so that might be worth investing in.  I took the coward's way out and only brought my electric piano from England.
