Title: Retired expats
Post by Ritaratbag on Apr 23rd, 2015 at 8:16am
Retired expats living in Spain will receive forms which must be signed, witnessed and sent back to U.K.
Estimated 45million pounds is claimed by family members illegally, after people have passed away and the authorities have not informed.
If forms are not returned, pension payments will stop.

A few years ago my mother's state pension which was being paid over here suddenly dried up.  Upon enquiry I was told that she never returned the form they had sent which would have demonstrated she was still on this mortal coil.  We had never received such a form - and they only sent it once before pulling the plug.
