Hello. I have installed cameras. It was easy to do. They communicate/alert via wifi. See ebay look for ZModo. The cameras are 720p. Made in china, ordered on ebay uk, delivered from Germany to me in spain. They send me alerts if anything bigger than a dog is prowling around. Also works at night using infra red. I think I paid about £60 each. You do need wifi tho
