Title: Slow response from the forum
Post by Nigel on Mar 22nd, 2016 at 7:48am
The last few days the forum has been slow to respond, opening pages took ages..

I reported this to my ISP and they seem to have sorted it out.

Seems o.k. now.
Two days ago when problems started, I even thought about changing my password, as I thought it was just me.
Could not even log out at that stage.

Here is the reply from the ISP - hopefully now sorted.

There is a site on this server that caused this other night. We warned the customer, but the same thing has now occurred.

We have shut this site down now because of this.

Because this is a shared platform, all the sites on the platform are sharing the resources, so if one sites starts taking up to much resources that is affecting the other users, we warn them and if they still have not resolved this, we will shut the site down.

This is what has been done.

So all should work for you now fine.

Sorry over any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Unfortunately Nigel, they are wrong.  It is no better this morning, if anything it is worse.  Like watching paint dry waiting for something to happen.
