I was talking about British pensioners living over here in Spain as economic migrants, because it's cheaper here and their pension pound goes further. They have been getting free health care in Spain as part of reciprocal health care arrangements amongst EU partners. That will stop when the UK leaves the EU and the people who are getting free health care here will have to start paying. Unless of course Britain agrees as part of the deal to continue to offer free healthcare to the European 'invaders', but I don't think it would be a very popular move amongst the 'Leavers'. |
