Hello everyone,
On Saturday July 2nd. I informed Nigel that I would be giving up the post as moderator.
Unfortunately I have not had a reply from Nigel, so thought you should all know about my decision. I have offered to carry on the duties until the end if July if this suits everyone.

I think you joined (according to the "Members" info) about 18 months after me.  During all that time you've provided an excellent and conscientious service.  Well done and thank you very much.

Do we think Nigel's resigned as well.  It's all the rage lately.  You would both be missed a lot more than Chris Evans :-)

Hoefully Nigel will be able to find someone else soon, to replace me as a moderator.
He is a really busy man and unable to spend very much time on the Forum, these days.
It is a good informative site where I will remain as a member and contribute to sometimes.
Thank you to all members who have supported me, thanked me, and sent me best wishes.

Looking promising a member for many years is looking at becoming the new moderator as from August 2nd.

Well Rita my love, here at the shack on the hill, Jeffrey my one eyed one eared deaf cat and I both shed a tear at the news of your departure as moderator but then again jeffers could have been crying as I just vacumed up his dead mouse which I had not seen and thinking about it I was crying due to the fear of the trouble I would be in, if seen by the other half when emptying the now bloody vac bag.

Other half says you deserve a rest after all the effort and work you have put into the forum well done you.

I hasten to add this is not my opinion but have been warned that if I mention censorship that you have subjected me to I am then a dead Bulldog only joking which is hard to do with the wife bending my fingers back.
Yours a moderator annoying Bulldog. 

Now thinking about you and your antics at the shack on the hill I don't know whether to laugh or cry, on my forthcoming departure.
But I will look forward to reading your posts, as I will still be around and remain as a member.
Think you are lucky that Mrs. Bulldog is only bending
