I am staying between Benifallet and Certainly a little way up alas at the moment. I injured myself a couple of weeks ago which I have managed okay but now things are rally running low and I do need to stock up i.e. water. I normally cycle but the hill is proving too much. Could someone advise me on the best mode of transport maybe even into Tortosa, a taxi I fear
could be quite costly. Are there minicabs about or the like? Thanks

The hife has a bus 5 times a day from benifallet to tortosa: http://www.hife.es.

To get to the bus there is a taxi (from the yellow pages):

Thanks Mark, like the cat.
I was hoping there might have been a.minicab or something along those lines although that place in Benifallet says it is one but alas the people hang up when you ask if they speak English

Could you not learn a couple of suitable phrases before phoning the taxi company? They could be helpful for the future too as not many people in rural Spain/Catalunya speak English.
