Thanks Michael, Have an appointment next Wednesday at INSS, Tarragona. Tortosa office send all paperwork there anyway. Requested a letter from HMRC confirming our NI contributions & income since 2010 which might help, will try this at CatSalut office first. Have found out if you are a resident here since before 24 April 2012 you "maybe" entitled to free healthcare as an early retiree. Otherwise it's 60€ a month for under 65s & 157€ for over 65s each & does not cover prescriptions.
No doubt Brexit will further complicate matters.
