The best free TV at the moment IMO is viewtelly no vpn required. It also has catchup however you do need your VPN for this. I suggest you install adblocker plus on your system and this will block the pop up ads which pay for this free service. I have shown this before but I like camposat in ints old format but this new one is very poor. Viewtelly gives you SKY SPORTS as well as UK TV also a tv guide. I have put the link for direct download for adblocker plus I use firefox so its showing the download for Firefox browser if you look underneath the green download bar you will find the correct download for your system. If you have a tablet it will show you how to get adblocker.
