Finally there is a decent internet service in Tres Cales. For those who don´t know Tres Cales is full of tall pine trees and this causes problems with signal degradation on WiMax signals. The repeaters in Tres Cales are in the middle of the urbanisation and surrounded by trees so there have always been problems for the majority of people there.

Now there are 2 new services, one at the top (mountain) end that should give good service to the top end from Ebretic (it is WiMax so will still suffer with tree problems) and a new 4G LTE service from Eurona.

I´ve installed both in Tres Cales and both work well. The 4G service should cover the whole of Tres Cales. I´ve yet to install any close to the AP7 or sea so still don´t know what that will be like but at the two extremes between the N340 and the very top of Tres Cales the 4G works very well. Speeds have been between 20Mb and 35Mb.
