The cat (Misia) that slept with the neighbour's dog and was fed by them, was probably run over on the bend on the main TV3421, outside Parellades. 
A lady in a house across the main road, says she buried a cat who had been hit in the head about the time Misia disappeared.  She confirmed that it looked like the cat from the photos we emailed her.
