Title: Referendum

A surprising lack of support apparent on here for what's happening to our adopted neighbors ?

There is plenty on other social media. Maybe it's best not to have political views on posted on the forum? Or maybe it's a good place to voice our opinions?
Personally I am disgusted by the behaviour of the policia nationale and the guardia civil.
General strike tomorrow!

I hear what you say Jack.  Plenty on other media and perhaps best to keep the forum free of politics (where possible).  Opinions don't seem to make any difference anyway (especially in Spain). Good to see the ARCA signatures going well though (7,922 as I type).

Terrible scenes in Barcelona and other areas yesterday . A very bad image of Spain for all the world to see. Don't want to get into politics so wont say more.

In a suprising interview in the Financial Times Artur Mas (former president of Catalunya) says that Catalunya isn't ready for 'real independence'.

Unfortunately the FT article is subscription only but you can read about it in Spanish here
