hi to all you golden oldies. i collect my pension after working for 40 years so is it better to pay into my english account or into my spanish account i will be liveing in spain but would like to best return many thanks all :)

Hi
Personally I have my state and private pensions paid into my UK account as I still have commitments in the UK
I then transfer (via TransferWise) the amounts I need for living here to my Spanish bank account as and when necessary.

Not sure if you have a choice of where to have state pension paid now.
A while back it had to be paid into Spanish bank account if resident here. Paid at bank rate of the day.
Possibly changed and people given the choice again?
