Book Swap Club ?

Hi Ive been thinking for a while now about starting a monthly meet for people to swap books. After falling over another carrier bag of her indoors used book collection and her moaning about reading books twice. I feel that our household isnt the only one out here with advid readers like my wife. I know the monthly carboot sale has a few vendors selling books, but I feel the opportunity to swap sell echange books only  in a  accesible pleasant covered surrounding like a restuaraunt  a mid week  dinner time or evening may prove popular, now the darknights are closing in .

Im looking for support to organise such a night soon say, late September early October, but require a little feedback and intentions of attendance to make it worth while. I have an idea fora Location but welcome suggestions on this front as well. Whilst many have interent connections alot do not,so if you have a collection of used books you wish to sell or exchange and friends not online, in the same dispostion run this past them and see if they are willing to make it a good turn out . There will be no table fees or set up costs just a friendly swap club .

I have a restuarant near me  called Crell dell Coll situated on the T331  very easy to find is actually next to the road midway between Tortosa and Ulldecona near the villiage of Freginals with a good large car park . They do a menu del dia for 10 euros and is very popular. This is my  suggested loacation.

Please respond  if you would be interested in attending such an event with preferences on  time, location, how many friends you are bringing and a rough idea on books that you will bring, no books no swap. I am aware that my wife could easily bring 50 books and her friend a similar amount so thats 2 people 100 books for starters, drop me a line, thanks for looking and dont forget to tell your friends not on line !

Hiya

There are 3 of us  in the Tortosa area who would love to come along to book swap get togethers.  we have quite a few books between us and are always on the look out for new books.  Another friend in El Perrello is also interested.  Just let us know when and where.
thanks

Thanks for all your replies the initial response is encouraging, please if you think you will come when I finalise a date just drop a note on here to give me an idea, I will speak with the restauraunt owner soon and pick a midweek dinner time  venue so menu del dia will be available   and try and give 3/4 weeks notice, they have a reasonable outside covered area with 4 or five tables as well as area in doors, keep the replies coming. Ill keep you updated.
