I am looking to move to the tortosa area within a year.
I am coming out in the beginning of October, hopefully for 2 weeks.
Does anyone know where is a good cheap place to stay? Or does anybody want to do a holiday house swap as I have ahouse in Zanzibar, Africa.

I am hoping to find a finca for around E20,000 to E50,000 with as much land as possible preferably flatter land and close to the Ebro as my boyfriend likes to fish!

Does anyone know if i could get any work with horses or animals over there? I am a very good rider.

Oh and what is the yacht harbour like?

Welcome to the forum.
The cheapest accommodation i know of is at the mobile home park in Mora d'Ebre here is their website:

www.moracaravans.com ; around 140 euros per week for a 3 bed roomed mobile home, includes water, electricity, gas, bedding etc, they are really friendly.

I'm not sure which yacht harbour you mean because Tortosa isn't on the coast, but there is one at L'Ampolla.
