Now there is a fire ban and you don't know what to do with all those tree trimmings, and you don't have a chipper shredder, but still want to get rid of the tree trimmings, why not burn them in a small stove (Out Doors, You don't want the heat in the Casa do you!) which has a back boiler so you get free Hot Water (cut down on your Gas or Electric Bills) all year round, if you want details of how to make one send me a message or reply to this post

Hi Hazelnut (from one to another!  Wink )
Yes, I would be interested in your plans.  It has struck me how strange it has been to have not seen any of these yet around in the campo.
In the wilderness of Wales (from where I come from) everyone had  at least a back boiler on your coal fire if not a coal fired aga
to heat water and supply central heating.
I can't PM you as still a newbie. Perhaps the mods (or rockers?)  could forward it to you
cheers,
Haze

I can roast more than my nuts on it, If I remove the lid handle I can put a casserole dish on it and cook the evening meal, also good to leave a kettle on for a quick cuppa, I am working on a top box for the stove so I can do Pizza or baked potatoes, and all outdoors( no heat in the casa), and still I get my 210 ltrs of hot water if you want FREE!! plans send me your email, I am not out to sell you anything just pass on an Idea
Regards Stuart

Have you tried putting on an oven glove?  This may help reduce the roasting effect?

Why use gas or electricity if you have plenty of tree trimmings
