Who or what is doing it...

For some time now it has come to my notice on several occasions of stategically placed dumps on the top of rocks along our track.Some creature or thing has not only got a twisted sense of humour but clearly takes great time,care and effort in decorating our stonework.They are a master in the art of balancing and before anyone says anything,it's not me or members of my family.....Could anybody clear this up for me,not literally of course.

Its a lesser squated cairn terrier, renowned for only fouling on piles of rocks, and adept at placing the pile on the top most stone, usually they mark all boundaries so it sound like you have your culprit to me

May I suggest that you make a posting on the Iberianature Forum.  Someone there will know, and I am sure that I have already seen there a posting about the same thing.
For anyone with an interest in wildlife this is a fascinating forum to access.

Hazel......very good,cairn/pile of rocks.Not convinced.It's not a shitzu or a poodle,I'm convinced it can also balance smaller stones on the top of the rocks,clearly it is a territory issue,I will get to the bottom of this.
