Water cost.

Does anyone have current cost for water delivery in Mora area for 8 to 12,000 litres please.
Do they charge per mile to deliver,over a delivery radius, or just charge a fixed price ?

Hi Phil,
Our guy charges €90 / 13,000 lts.He travels about 10k from Tortosa to get to us but we are not near Mora.Hope that gives you an idea

Hi,
   Got charged 140e for a delivery from Campredo to Cami de L'arturet. The guy filled up with 6000ltrs, was I robbed or does this seem normal.If anyone knows someone cheaper I would be grateful as the same guy charged 75e the year before.

With or without a mask,you was robbed....
The guy to see is directly behind the Firestone garage almost opposite Sabeco on the main road heading towards Jesus.Brown labrador,large tanker,wifes got no teeth etc.....€90 euros for a 10k trip,13,000ltrs.

It is worth checking again as I believe the Campredo man delivers potable water and I have heard that the "Firestone" man's water is not drinkable. This will make a lot of difference

A fair point...Even though Albert (Firestone man) does drink it,he says because it could be stored in a cysterna for a while it is not worth drinking it or boil it first.

Here in el Perello you used to be able to fill your own cubo with tokens bought from the policia local. The new mayor has stopped this as 'we are all illegal living in the campo'.
The agricultural water is still available but I have been told never to drink it, boiled or not, as it may contain herbicides & pesticides. Always check that water being delivered is potable, even if it's going in a swimming pool.

Do you mean the water outlet near to the Sports hall/ swimming pool ?
Has it been removed, or is it still available for local residents ?

Hello All,
           Tinkering about and found my previous reply on this thread. Last Summer (2009) the same guy, who is really nice and also delivers large loads of gravel charged 110e for a fill of 6500ltrs- 2 cubos, cisterna and kiddies pool- all with potable water.He charges 140e for gravel (6ton  load) and can make it as fine or course a grade as you need.
