JAPANS ASO IN CHINA

Taro Aso, the Japanese prime minister, has arrived in Beijing at the start of a two-day official visit aimed at stepping up cooperation to tackle the global economic crisis.

Aso's visit, his first since taking office last September, follows recent flare-ups in relations between the two Asian neighbours, although both sides have said they are hoping the visit will help clear the air over some long-standing disputes.

Very Interesting!! But why on the Tortosa Forum?
Now I am sitting in my little casa at the top of a mountain in Bitem worrying about Mr Aso and Beijings disputes. Oh woe is me Sad

Ok, Ok, It was just me and Reuters found the Headline mildly amusing, but I thought it might provoke a few Oriental jokes. Win some Lose some.
When you Post you never know the reaction till you try which I think puts a lot people off, after all, new posts are the lifeblood of any Forum - Good or as in this case Bad. Smiley

That's just the kind of whineing needs to be nipped in the bud....

Sujay, I love the way you tied to rope in Reuters to share the blame for all the passing bindweed Wink Personally I would have blamed it on that 'one eyed Scottish idiot' Brown

Decry the man called Brown but leave alone his disability..It is unnecessary and offensive to others. Thanks you

Aso,  Rotnob, I feel really, really, offended and depressed at your comment, not that I have only one eye(which I have) but to be put in the same boat as Mr Brown who is selling us all down the river and it's the Clyde not the Thames>>>>>>>>>>I suppose the Scottish Mafia will all go to the other side of Hadrians Wall when they lose the election thinking they have done a good job and have given the English a beating at last.
Ah well, I think I'll take down my St. Georges Flag and have another Gin and Tonic while I can!!!
Coming over next week Ian, I'll give you a ring.
