A while ago we opened a Nationwide account in the UK as we still get some income there.
Withdrew some money from an ATM the other day and got €1.139 with no other charges. Barclays used to give awful rates.
Worth a look.

I opened an account last year as Nationwide as do not charge you for taking money out abroad, also its online banking works well. Cheesy
