Please, please, please.....you must report these incidents to the local Police. I know it can be difficult with the language problem and maybe you might feel prone if your property is not classed as 'legal' but if these low life feel that no one is going to bother calling the police and they continue to get away with it then the situation will only get worse.
Plan what you would do in this sort of situation in advance. Get the 'phone numbers to hand and practice what you need to say. Have your finca details ready with the polygon number so they can find you. At the very least report the incident the following day in person at your local police station. You never know, the police may be more helpful than you think!

When we reported ours that same day the desk sergeant didn't speak English but a lady that was also waiting did and she helped us out.We were then interviewed by another policeman in an Office who claimed he could only speak a little,it was dam good. The SOCO who came round the following day spoke better English than me.Very helpful, polite and prompt.Still haven't got the lap top back though.......

Good to hear you had a decent service. You may not get it back but by reporting it you have flagged up that their is a problem. Unless the Police know about this there won't be any pressure to have patrols in the areas where it is happening. It is only through increasing patrols and stopping any dodgy looking cars that they stand any hope of catching these low lives. What goes around comes around and eventually they will be caught. Just be careful about confronting any of these criminals because they could react violently.

If you look at the size of the new MOSSOS offices near the roundabout at the entrance to Tortosa you can't help thinking they are expecting trouble!
Or possibly it is just a place to mass the troops????
