The best we have found are from Blasco's.
Definately the best we have had.
Ask for a Thwatter if you have a lisp, if no lisp take the "h" out.

Garcia, next to Carrefour, Electric Fly Swats, about E10, work a treat.

Why thrash about when you can fry them ?

I forgot to say it's the ones with a plastic covered wire handle that are the best.
The ones from the china shop are total rubbish, very "airy-fairy". they are ok if you say "whoops" a lot, and have one hand on your hip while you say it.

Sorry Chris
I know the ones you mean Red Wire Handle with a floppy red swat, sold out and unfortunately Blascos can get them anymore so the search will have to continue for a decent twatter

No Sorry Motty unless you cover the electric fly swat in rotting meat or fly bait they don't land on the beggar and the tennis racket breaks very easily when you try and hit one of the little beggars I bought one for £0.99 off ebay it works but as I say the flies won't do the decent thing and land on the wires!! Angry Angry

The best fly swat on sale here at the moment is made of quite strong, blue plastic, in Mercadona. Cheap too.
Those bats are useless!

After exhaustive and extensive tests carried out under strict laboratory conditions at our,' summer residence ', we can conclude that, so far, after nearly 3 years of the b*stards, the best fly deterants  are available from the china shop near Lidls. They are the  small  ‘LUCKY’  hurricane lamps at 2.50 euros  with citronella oil ( 2 ailses down). 6,almost fly free days with meals has drawn us to this epic conclusion and if it carries on like this, wifey says with a glint in her eye over her readers,I might get a special present for my birthday.......

we had an electric one last year and it was really good, pricey though at around £10 but a cheap one is probably crap so you get what you pay for. You don't actually swat with them as this would break it. They are really good for killing flies when they are buzzing around together in numbers. This may sound daft but when we lived in Spain they always seemed to be more sociable than the flies in the UK!!!! Yes, I know, cuckoo! True though, pueblo flies always buzz around together in the house and the zapper was great, just wizz it about and they drop like...flies... not so useful now we are back in the UK as the fles here are more solitary, they prefer their own company.. down the pub with a pint, sat in the corner... Cheesy
