I think your premise is flawed and simplistic, Norbrot. In normal times I would agree with you but I know of ex-pats who work hard to a high standard and are still finding it difficult to get enough work. Generally, Catalans will use Catalan tradesmen, which is only right and natural and I believe we should be doing the same, at least until the economy picks up again. I have no desire to support any of the many cowboys out here but a recommendation for a good installer from someone who has actually used them would be much appreciated. Failing that, I will use the nice Catalan chap in our village who we have used a few times in the past.
