I second that.
Did it happen while you were up at my place?
I've got the keys for the door you need.
See you soon.

Sorry to hear you were done again.
We know how it feels. We come out every couple of months to Chill out, but have to stay in our caravan, finca still being finced,we were cleaned out, old shoes, knickers and socks, t- shirts, bedding, crocks and cutlery, just the stuff that is easy to replace.
Hope you get your stuff back. Angry

Sorry to hear about your ongoing problems.  One thing that I would like to know is why do all the burglaries that I hear about seem to take place in the Bitem / Tivenys area ?

It's not the only place.  Ginestar has a big problem as does El Perello and recently there has been a spate of thefts in Tres Cales (near L'Ametlla de Mar) and Gilet (near L'Ampolla).

One possible reason Bitem/Tivenys is more prone is there is effectively 1 road in, 1 road out (unless you fancy a scenic ride to Benifallet). So, keep an eye on a house.  Wait for the owners to go out and get your mate to keep an eye on the road to/from Tortosa.  If the owners come back a quick phone call and you have 10-15 minutes to make your escape.

Steve, yes done whilst picking up a new door to replace the last one they destroyed!  Twice in one bloody week! what are the chances of that happening?
The first one (weds) was a returning gang from January we think. They just gave us time to restock.
The Monday afternoon jobby was done by a local we think.
Probably saw us going out, so everyone in the village is now a suspect!

The older locals living in Rasquera allways said El Perello was full of Banditos, now we know why !
What will it take before the Police start takeing these thefts seriously and do something about them ?

Having been burgled one and a half times in the last 6 weeks, I fully sympathise.
Very sorry.

It would be helpful if they actually found fingerprints.
When Scientifica come to inspect our place they didn't find anything at all, apparently the thieve was wearing leather glows.

So that was that  Undecided
