The Adjuntament in Tortosa tell me that you can commence fires in the fields from 16th September without special permission.  I know that various answers have been given about this in the past.

Thanks for that but Xerta have only given permissions up to mid October recently and then you have to get another permission which takes you through to next year, at this time of year I wonder why they bother.

I mentioned Tortosa from the outsety as I realised that other areas might be different - but I'm surprised as to how different.  Is this a money making scheme for Xerta I wonder?
