Had a proper run in with some recently, they arrived to rob us armed with metal fence poles, I guess to beat the dogs they knew were here, maybe us as well.

Best not to mention too many details, but one of them got really properly thanked for this rudeness, the friends he works with  have been ID'ed, we will see what happens. It is locals, possibly along with some Gypsies, in the Tortosa area.

We spotted afterwards, just down the road, a short wooden stick stuck in the ground beside the road with blue insulation tape around it, a marker..... also a plastic bag under a stone on the path they entered from. They are obviously casing up places and leaving markers, also, they clearly like to use the cover of rainy nights to move about, Dogs are likely to be curled up keeping warm and are shockingly easy to walk past...
