Went to this restaurant on Fri evenning for my friends birthday, although we were on our own in the restaurant and it lacked atmosphere the food was fantastic and the service was spot on.Could not fault it at all I just hope business picks up for them as they deserve to be a sucess.

Another positive for this restaurant.  A newly reformed building, clean if somewhat soleless; a great pity they haven't pulled out the weeds outside in the gravel and a historic fact sheet of the building would add interest.  Excellent food, chef cooked on the premises; the beef casserole was much better value than the pork chop (with chips, unhappily) chocolate pudding was really yummy without being cloy-ey or over sweet.  Rene Berbier red, v.g.  4 people for 40 euros - I don't normally tip but this was worth it.   Certainly a level of service and quality for many other small town restaurants to aspire to.
