Here in the Alfara valley the river is thundering down into the ravine-
The small baranc which goes under our driveway has water passing through which makes it look very attractive but as this comes out of the irrigation supply I suppose that it means there is a blockage somewhere which I shall have to go and relieve.

Well with 2 more days of the same to come I suppose the next thing will be flash floods.
Warning for those that live in the Val Cervera - that barranc has been dry for ages.

Barranc now thundering through although not affecting us as we are safely located many metres above it. Will probably have a walk up the road into the valley where the barranc runs parallel to the road to see the affects       Undecided

Some Cervera Valley Barranc Pics (Taken some years ago,but running again like this now)

I usually use a garden fork to poke my obstructions out.

We came over in December to find our road completely washed away, we had to walk a mile to get to the finca, this was the Sant Llatzer, Tortosa area.

Tortosa, Bitem, and L' Aldea areas were badly affected with the downpours in December. Along with Vinaros area.
This does happen sometimes.
You can look across and see the rain moving from one place to another in the valley sometimes.
Crazy because we are needing some rain right now!

Usually B' cold, and can be very misty/foggy this time of year!
Was 2/3 degrees colder there,  on Monday than in Tortosa area.
But hotter in Summer! as it's inland.
