For the infomation of others, be very wary of Linea Directa. They refused to pay out after a fire on two counts.
First the fire was in the (attached and integrated) garage.
Second, more than 85% of the total has to be burnt.
These two little clauses were hidden in the very small print on our certificate and are not mentioned in the main policy at all.
There are other clauses too. Read your certificate very carefully and take the worst possible interpretion of what is says. They will!
