There is a good shop selling all kinds of spices, and other foodstuff in the old part of Tortosa.
If you go over the iron bridge into Tortosa and look down, to your left, you will see the gun and fishing shop. Just along that street, and a few doors away, is the shop.

It's in an older building/shop, that closed down.
In a row of shops, down past Mc. Donalds, near to the Mercadona, Tortosa

Its a few door up from the Hyundai car sales on the right going into Tortosa is called "Asia" there's a surprise. I saw it today on my way back from my yearly purchase at the swimming pool shop....An extending pole for my pool net/brush every year I manage to bend the pole so it jams and will not extend another 32 Euro.  Embarrassed

It's sad when your pole no longer extends.

yes we found the asian spice shop in the old town too. it sells 'East end' and Heera' brand spices cheaply and they have PGtips from India. they are both from Pakistan and speak a little English. they will tell you about all their relatives working in the UK as taxi drivers if you hang around to chat...
