Thanks, I'm trying to update the pages - as there is no longer any English language publication in the area I'm attempting to tidy the adverts up a bit.

Why all the white space left at the side of the page now?
Or are you still playing?

Hi nigel I use an iPad and it lines the adverts vertically, so it appears that there are only adverts on that page, I have to scroll down quite a way to find the actual forum.
Wouldn't it be better to have them lined up across the page?

True but.. you can go directly to the forum without going via the front page, thereby avoiding everything - much as I hate adverts on web pages something has to pay for the site and for anyone paying to advertise it's only fair they are shown on the site.

As the Olive Press is no more and the forum is the only English medium in the area I'm expecting to pick up a few more advertisers so the old 'one at a time' at the top of the page seems a bit limiting..

I'm open to suggestions!

p.s. I've 'fixed' (I hope) the layout..

Yes, hope we encourage more advertisers on here now.
Doesn't cost much to advertise anyway, and they should benefit, as and there are always lots of people look at this site, whether they are members or guests.
