irrigation water costs

Hi all,
Can anybody please tell me how much it costs to have irrigation water connected when an outlet is near/on the land?

Hi John

Connection is usually charged by the hectare of land, so it will depend on the irrigation association in question and how much land you have.

Best approach is to contact the irrigation association directly.

The last client of mine I organised a connection for paid around 1.500 euros for a connection for around a hectare of land, but costs can vary widely.

does that mean that you pay for all the hectares or only the hectares yoiu actually want irrigated ?

Hi, When I applied i was told to only register for one hectare. cost around 1400€.
