HI ALL

I am new to the Tortosa Forum but i thought i would say hello to you as i have found some useful stuff on here, I have not yet moved to Spain but hope to do so later in the year but i we do come over as many times as we can. some of you may have seen me on tv on A Place in the Sun, last October where we were shown 5 houses in the area, well we bought the 1st house that channel 4 took us to. We film in July 2012 and we moved into the house on the 27 November we have been really happy so far just wish i did not have to work & come back to the uk, still not for much longer we have been very lucky to meet some really nice neighbours and have quickly become good friends, just listening to Radio Catalonia on line as i write this they are just playing 10cc not heard this for years. Give it a go if you not listen yet its really very good, can you pick this station on the radio or is it just internet. anyway that's me done for now.

Hi Richard.. A warm welcome to Catalonia.
I have quite a few Places in the sun stored in my Tv. Can you give us a clue to the places you were taken to. I have 1 starting up near flix on the Ebro, and another filmed  in Miravet and featuring Mora D' Ebre and  Jesus. My recordings were shown in Jan & Feb, but im sure they are often repeated.

Thanks for the interest i am sorry to say that the tv show went out in October last year and is no longer on catch up tv
i am sure they will repeat it again later in the year, the tv show  that we were on was a new series with a new presenter it was title a place in the sun (summer sun) and they put us in a hotel Pino Alto in Miami player, they did film us on the ferry at Miravet the film crew took us to some really lovely places, i have taken on board what Cactus Jack has posted but as i said i have brilliant neighbours and a really good alarm and cctv system in place not that there is much to take as we are not living there yet. if i get to know if the show is going to be on i will put a post on this forum. thanks again for the interest.  Cheers
