Parking ticket lookup/pay? (Read 7286 times)

	Anyone have a link to Tortosa town hall or such where I can lookup a parking ticket I lost and pay it online? Or.....tell me where to go find and pay. It's about 2 weeks old. Ta ever so if anyone can help.

	If it's any help, I have a ticket issued on 17/08/12 in Tortosa. I went to the town hall to ask where i could pay. I was told that the company that has the franchise (SIUT), would eventually write to me. They haven't yet. It's pinned on the board in my office just in case but it's now so faded I can hardly read it. Moral ? Sit on it.

	Can the parking fines be paid in your bank like speeding tickets?

	We went to BASE to pay a parking fine and they looked it up and told us that the details had not yet been received and to go back in a couple of months.� When we went back we got the same reply but to go back in 3 months.� We did that and they looked it up again and told us that they still had not received the details and that it was now too late and to forget it.

	Does everybody realise you can pay your parking fines on the spot ? Go back to the machine, select "Multa" and pay in the e3 fine, it spews out a receipt ticket, you wrap this up with the parking ticket and stuff it in the letterbox thingy on the machine. Simple and cheap.

	Yes, I was aware it was possible but at the time couldn't work out how to do it.

	YOu cannot pay your fine on the spot if the machine is broken as ours was.

	If it is one of the blue zone on street parking tickets you can pay your fine at any machine, not just the one that your ticket came from.

	When we originally went to the adjuntament to find out how to pay our fine the girl there said we had to return to pay at the original machine where our car was parked.

	I just meant that if a machine is broken (any machine) then you can't do much with it. The options would be to find another (as has been suggested) or do as I've done and just wait and see if anything happens.

	You can pay the fine for 3 euros, true, but you have to pay it that day, on the spot. After that, you are in the twighlight zone. We too went to Town Hall and were told to come back in a few days after they called us. they never did, been two weeks. Go figure.........
