brand new development of a 6 star hotel

Im interested in a property around the resquera/ Benifallet area but Ive just come accross an article about a proposed development of a
'brand new development of a 6 star 300 suite boutique hotel and health spa and a championship golf course winding its way down from the monestry to the valley at benifallet'

Im very attracted to the area for the peace and quiet, this would change the whole ambiance I think.
has anyone heard anything about this in the local press etc ?

If this is the same hotel up by the old water bottling plant by the monastery,it's been in the pipeline for years.(did you see what I did there..?) Not much has happened in 7 years unless someone has just started

Cardo Monastery, now a ruin.
Press said a few years ago about a Spa, hotel etc. being built sometime?
Also that a new road would have to be built for it.

There's been talk about this for years but as far as I know - that proposed development has been completely shelved due to the 'crisis'.  There was something in the local rag a couple of montha ago about abandoning the project due to insufficient market for that type hotel in the area apparently.

I want to know what a 6 star hotel is.  I didn't now they were catagorised higher than 5.  Maybe someone was talking about that ****** hotel!

One often hears the claim 6 star or even 7 star hotels but this is not part of the official rating system. It often originates with the hotels themselves. Very popular rating in the UAE and probably deserved by some such as the one in Nobrot,s picture
