Strimmer repair

I have an Ironside Garden Strimmer model 503014 35cc Gasolina. It is just over 2 years old & has not really been used that much, however it is refusing to start.I took it today to "Domenech Maquinari" in Tortosa to ask for a repair presupuesto, but the young lad serving just laughed at me,saying its looks like a cheap chinese one probably purchased from a supermarket or ferreteria so what did I expect? I suppose Domenech are doing so well at the moment they can turn some people away?
Anyway, yes it was purchased in a Ferreteria in Amposta & was I suppose cheap at around Euros 160,however Ironside International do operate from France & do sell their products in over 20 European Countries.
To get to the point, can anyone let me know where you have in the past had Garden machinery repaired in Tortosa or its surrounding area (except of course if it was repaired by Domenech)
Many Thanks
Rob

You have cleaned the spark plug and filled it with fresh petrol ?

Amazing how quickly 4 star goes "off", especially the cheap stuff.

If you have not used it heavily it is unlikely you have gummed the carburettor up

A spray of easy start around the air filter intake can often wake the dead

Presumably like most petrol tools it is 2 stroke.
Have you put the right amount of 2 stroke oil in with petrol?
Sorry if we are stating the obvious.

Try Primitivo Conesa, Jesus just behind Gisberts on the back road parallel to the C12. friendly and reliable but not cheap.

If it's a 2 stroke and it hasn't been used very much the oil in the fuel mixture can 'gum'up the pipes and jets.Strip the carb down and soak in neat petrol or carb cleaner for a few hours.
Or, if it is a cheap chinese thing,as all mine are, find a supplier on t'interweb and order a carburateur (sp)/The last one I bought was £12.00 about 3 years.....problem solved
Ironside are a pretty good make so it shouldn't be difficult getting spares.Oh wait, this is Spain.......

If it's not too far for you, I've found Taller Tomas in Masdenverge to be very good.  Last building on the left going towards Amposta from Santa Barbara, opposite the Farmacia.

It's just a small family business.  He has helped me out in the past where others have failed.  No English spoken I'm afraid.
