MUTV free on Friday night

MUTV will be free-to-air this Friday evening for Sky TV customers, giving more fans in the UK and Ireland the chance to see both Countdown To Kick Off - with Bryan Robson - and live coverage of the Under-21 semi-final against Liverpool at Anfield.

The four-hour free period will begin at 18:30 BST when Robson joins CTKO host Ali Shaw in the studio to look back on a hectic fortnight at Old Trafford and ahead to tomorrow’s game against Sunderland. The programme will feature exclusive interviews with interim manager Ryan Giggs, goalkeeping coach Chris Woods and first-team players Marouane Fellaini and Tom Cleverley.

MUTV will then show United's Under-21s in live action at Anfield, where Warren Joyce's side will strive to secure a memorable victory over the Merseysiders and a place in the play-off final against Chelsea. Extra-time and penalties are possible, but the free-to-air period will cover this, enabling supporters to see every nail-biting second.
